Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to join our team in an ongoing advisory capacity to conduct comprehensive code auditing and architectural review of our modern web application built on Laravel 11, React 18, and TypeScript. This role combines hands-on code analysis with strategic architectural guidance to ensure our codebase maintains the highest standards of quality, security, and scalability.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct codebase audits (Laravel, React, TypeScript) including authentication, payments, APIs, and database design.
  • Perform weekly code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices.
  • Guide architectural decisions, scalability planning, CI/CD, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Document coding standards, best practices, and maintain technical audit reports.
Qualifications
  • Required — 8+ years of software development experience (full-stack).
  • Required — 5+ years in senior/architect roles with code review responsibility.
  • Required — Strong expertise in PHP 8.2+, Laravel 11, React 18, TypeScript, and database optimization.
  • Required — Hands-on experience with authentication (Passport/Sanctum), Stripe payments, microservices, and CI/CD.
  • Required — Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Required — Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Preferred — Experience with Docker, Laravel Sail, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Preferred — Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog) and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS).
  • Preferred — Contributions to open-source in Laravel/React ecosystem.
  • Preferred — Relevant certifications in software architecture or security.
