Principal Protection & Control Engineer, High Voltage Substations — Jacobs, Mandaluyong, National Capital Region, Philippines.
At Jacobs, our APAC Energy & Power team is geared towards providing an integrated end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, with focus on transmission and distribution, high voltage protection design, and related consultancy engineering services.
The role is expected to support and deliver consultancy engineering services in the fields of Transmission and Distribution with specific technical focus on high voltage Protection design. The role should be a trusted advisor for clients and help deliver work on time and on budget. You may also mentor and develop other engineers to grow Jacobs’ offering in your area of specialty.
As appropriate, you will also mentor and develop other engineers to grow Jacobs offering in your area of specialty.
* An experienced Electrical Engineer that has well established Transmission and Distribution experience gained in either utilities and/or consultancy field.
* Experience in delivering technically excellent engineering designs and design review for high voltage projects.
* Skilled in Protection design for Transmission and Distribution utilities.
* Confident to liaise with clients and lead meetings for small projects.
