Overview
Senior Manager and Global Process Owner (GPO) – Order To Cash (OtC) is responsible for leading and supporting the Order-To-Cash operations in Cebu. This role designs the Global OtC Process including Master Data Management (Customer) for all DBS sites and standardizes the Global Order-To-Cash Process (Philippines, Suzhou, Bucharest and India). The role provides direction and executes the end-to-end OtC process with world-class service execution, quality assurance, audit compliance, improved data accuracy, and effective use of technology to optimize the OtC lifecycle. The position collaborates with global stakeholders (OpCo) and internal customers from various operating companies to drive value realization, working capital improvement, continuous process improvement, transaction efficiency, and service improvement.
Essential ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Management and oversight of the end-to-end Cebu Order To Cash process; including system workflows, governance and future direction
- Conduct regular process assessments and identify bottlenecks and root causes within OtC operations to drive process improvements
- Lead regular reviews to ensure updated operational guides and process manuals are available for general consumption
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce overtime through automation and process efficiencies
- Collaborate with the Transformation Team and Technology Enablement Team to initiate process improvements, system enhancements, or process simplification to achieve cost savings
- Regularly review internal and external KPIs (pre-QBR) and identify future risks
- Lead the Cebu OtC process to ensure achievement of service level agreements as agreed with various stakeholders (Operating Companies)
- Lead the team to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and quality of processes to deliver satisfying service
- Monitor and ensure achievement of the annual operating budget and key performance metrics
- Conduct regular capacity planning to ensure proper resource allocation, including transition of new processes and FTE optimization
- Ensure an updated business continuity plan on processes and people to sustain service delivery during force majeure or disruptions
Global Process Owners
- Regular cadence across all stakeholders (OpCos and DBS) for process alignment and governance
- Prioritize projects with impact on automation and efficiencies
- Coordinate with OpCo CI resources to assess upstream and downstream dependencies for comprehensive insights and improvements across geographies and business units
- Work with internal audit and controls to establish and test process controls, governance risks, and compliance
- Provide global leadership and oversight to regions pertaining to the OtC global blueprint, including Master Data Management for customers
- Ensure timely communications across operating companies for changes to processes and people
- Design work instructions and policies; maintain a consistent approach for instruction development across global locations; monitor process controls and report observations to DBS Global Controller
- Lead overall training strategy and needs assessment; develop and update global training materials; coordinate with operational leads to support training delivery
- Enforce global template and design standards; identify and escalate deviations not driven by local, regulatory or tax considerations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field preferred
- Minimum ten (10) years’ cumulative experience in various finance shared services, especially Collections, Cash Application and disputes
- At least 5 years managerial experience leading a group of at least 15 professionals
- Experience managing data in large ERP systems; Oracle preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts)
- Lean training a plus
- Working knowledge of financial reporting tools (High Radius, Longview Khalix) & end-to-end automation solution for enterprise R2R (Cadency) is an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead a large, diverse, multi-regional team
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing data in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate results
- High level of customer focus and positive attitude
- Ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization
- Self-directed, positive, and ethical with minimal supervision
