The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of cash accounting and related financial reporting activities. The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations. They are responsible for working with the Team Leader to manager and motivate the team to achieve organizational goals, ensuring the accuracy and quality of work. The role is also involved with training team members. Possessing excellent leadership skills, strong accounting background, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and ensure compliance of financial statements with GAAP/IFRS. Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and reporting activities. Record and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and general ledger reconciliations. Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Analyze financial trends and identify anomalies to support business decisions. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants. Qualifications At least four (4) years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting, including international exposure. Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools). Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently. Detail-oriented and organized in reviewing financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Effective collaborator with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferably a CPA, with familiarity in U.S. GAAP or U.S. accounting principles.
