JOB SUMMARY Data powers all the decisions we make at Snapmart. You will be responsible for designing, building and optimizing our analytic initiatives, as well as utilizing them to support business to make well-informed, logical and efficient decisions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations. Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs. Predict forecasts for complex supply chain problems to optimize planning and cost. Continuously improve the quality and automate results and dashboards. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Business Analytics or Business Information Systems Experience: Experience using visual analytic tools (e.g. Qlik, Tableau) and big data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop) 1+ years of relevant work experience in data analyst, with knowledge of marketplace operations, logistics, transportation, supply chain or last-mile delivery preferably. Working experience in a well-established logistics or e-commerce company is a plus. Technical Skills: Experience using visual analytic tools (e.g. Qlik, Tableau) and big data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop). Strong SQL skills in traditional databases (e.g. Postgres) and Hadoop platform (eg. HiveQL). Experience in working with R, Python, front end coding skills – javascript, CSS a bonus. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SPSS, SAS, R, Python) Experience with product/behavioral analytics platforms (e.g. Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude). Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (e.g. Segment, mParticle) Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English with confidence. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented Highly energetic, independent & ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. Demonstrated ability to learn fast, handle multiple tasks, prioritize objectives to meet deadlines.
