POSITION SUMMARY: We are actively seeking Linguists with the following language proficiencies: Bahasa-Indonesian, Bosnian, Burmese, Cambodian, Cebuano, Chinese-Cantonese, Chinese-Mandarin, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Romanian, Hungarian, Russian, Indonesian, Serbian, Italian, Slovak, Japanese, Swedish, Khmer, Tagalog, Korean, Tetum, Lao, Thai, Malay, Turkish, Mongolian, Uighur, Norwegian, Ukrainian Polish, and Vietnamese Linguists process material or participates in activities requiring translation and transcription. This position is pending contract award. Requirements ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the translation of IC products, materials, and professional documents. Participate in situations requiring a general professional linguistic capability. Perform the full range of activities in processing material or participating in situations requiring an advanced professional capability in required professional disciplines. Provide transcription services. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Candidates with any level of clearance, including those with no clearance but who are deemed eligible, may be considered. QUALIFICATIONS: PRIMARY LINGUIST Language scores of 3 to 3+ (Reading. Writing, and Listening) on the ILR scale for translation into English. Experience providing translation support at the Primary level. SENIOR LINGUIST Language scores of 4 to 4+ (Reading. Writing, and Listening) on the ILR scale for translation into English. Experience providing translation support at the Senior level. EXPERT LINGUIST Language scores of 5 (Reading. Writing, and Listening) on the ILR scale for translation into English. Experience providing translation support at the Expert level. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Foreign language capabilities at the Proficient level (ILR level 3/3+) or at the Advanced level (ILR level 5). Experience supporting the translation of lC products, materials, and professional documents. Experience participating in situations requiring superior professional linguistic capability. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word. Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly concerning the ability to engage collaboratively and effectively in a virtual environment. Strong time and task management skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT: 8-hour shifts or as required by the customer. PAY RANGE: Pay Range: $50,000 - $150,000 a year Ascensus Global (AGI) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
