Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is looking for motivated and tech-savvy individuals to join our growing IT support team as Virtual Help Desk Support Specialists . This remote role is designed for beginners who are eager to start their career in the IT field. You will provide first-level technical assistance to users, troubleshoot common issues, and elevate complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you gain confidence and develop your skills in IT customer service and system troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer queries via chat, email, or remote access tools. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems. Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a clear, user-friendly manner. Log all customer interactions and technical issues in the support ticketing system. Escalate unresolved or complex problems to senior IT staff following company procedures. Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards while handling user information. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient problem resolution. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new systems and tools. Required Skills and Qualifications Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and IT terminology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused attitude with a desire to learn and grow in the IT field. Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer or laptop. Experience Experience Level: Entry-level (0–2 years). No prior professional experience required—training will be provided. Internship or personal experience in tech support or troubleshooting is a plus. Working Hours Flexible remote schedule based on shift requirements. Full-time and part-time positions available. Candidates must be available for rotational shifts, including weekends if required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS). Familiarity with ticketing systems or remote desktop tools (optional but preferred). Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
