You will make a direct impact by: Building secure, performant, and maintainable backend services and frontend interfaces. Translating complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions and writing clean, testable code. Leading architectural discussions and fostering a culture of high engineering standards through peer reviews and constructive feedback. This Role Is for You If… Experience: You have 5+ years of professional experience in software development. You have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL. You possess proven leadership experience — able to mentor others, drive technical initiatives, and contribute to team growth. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the Rails MVC framework and common design patterns. Proficient in database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting in PostgreSQL. Comfortable working with Git version control (GitHub/Bitbucket). Non-Negotiables: Ability to work independently and lead both technical decisions and team initiatives. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a pragmatic approach. Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Bonus Points: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with Hotwire (Stimulus & Turbo) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) and RSpec. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar.
