Join Citi as a Fund Monitoring Analyst 2 to evaluate fund credit risk and ensure exposure aligns with risk guidelines in a global banking environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform intra-day monitoring of limit/exposures for funds, hedge funds, and private equity counterparties across Asia.
  • Manage and maintain proprietary database of counterparty capital and performance, liaising with counterparties for financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain data integrity in Citi’s database and notify credit officers of unusual performance movements or trigger breaches.
  • Monitor ISDA/CSA credit terms, update credit systems, identify and escalate breaches, and oversee resolution with analysts and Legal.
  • Proactively monitor fund and Investment Securities exposures, conduct analysis and investigations to ensure proper reporting and resolution of exceptions.
  • Coordinate with departments and management on credit risk reporting issues, investigate data issues, and resolve reporting errors.
  • Manage assigned projects ensuring accuracy and timely deliverables.
  • Develop understanding of financial and capital markets transactions and their risk exposures.
  • Fulfil ad hoc tasks assigned by Limit Monitoring head and Team Lead, including regulatory and portfolio reports.
  • Provide checker function on NAV uploads to ensure data quality accuracy.
  • Mentor junior analysts to pass on best practices.
About You

  • Graduate of Business-related courses, preferably Economics, Accounting, or Finance; post-graduate qualifications or professional certifications (FRM, CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with risk management and systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Highly attentive to detail, able to work under pressure and deliver timely, accurate results.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Strong quantitative and database management skills, including Microsoft Excel and MS Access.
