Ensure consistency and compliance with data architecture principles and naming standards. Document models, relationships, and metadata. Database Design and Optimization Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views in PostgreSQL. Optimize queries, indexes, and storage structures for performance. Support normalization and denormalization strategies as required. Collaboration and Integration Work closely with application developers, data engineers, and ETL teams to ensure alignment between data models and implementation. Participate in data migration and integration projects, ensuring model integrity. Governance and Documentation Maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories. Establish best practices for database design and change management. Support and Review Review and refactor existing database structures where necessary. Provide support during testing, deployment, production and performance tuning phases. Requirement and Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling and database design. Proven hands-on experience with PostgreSQL , including schema design, indexing, and query optimization. Familiarity with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio, pgModeler, or similar). Experience in data migration using ETL tools like ADF. Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets and data integration projects. Strong understanding of normalization, data integrity, and relational database theory. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
