Quick Rundown:
We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will respond to customer inquiries, prepare accurate quotes and visuals, and maximize every opportunity through upselling and cross-selling.
What You’ll Do:
Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations and visuals for customers based on their requirements, offering additional products with the view to upsell and cross at every opportunity
Collaborate with the BDR team to ensure a smooth transition of leads/customers and provide all relevant information for follow-up
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the quotation and artwork process, including correct item quoting, supplier selection, and appropriate markup
Continuously update and maintain product and supplier knowledge, staying informed about pricing, best selling products, upcoming events and changes in offerings
Monitor and track quotation metrics, including the number of leads quoted and the quality of quotes, to meet or exceed targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and marketing, to gather necessary information to maximize the potential on every lead
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a sales support within a customer service role, preferably in a related industry
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple quotations simultaneously
Proficient in using quotation and CRM software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking to ensure accurate pricing and markup.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency to meet customer needs and achieve targets (see targets below)
Targets:
Ability to generate a minimum of 10 new quotations per day with a 30% conversion rate from quote to order
Addition of two alternative products to offer alternatives or cross-sell.
Incorporation of an additional price break to upsell
