As our Communications Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing and responding to communications requests from Donor Relationship Managers (DRMs), ensuring smooth workflow, and crafting compelling narratives that strengthen donor relationships and expand our impact.

Core Responsibilities

Rothman Coaching

  • Develop marketing strategies and directly implement across outreach channels. Collaborate across teams, monitor performance, and continuously optimize strategy to ensure results.
  • Lead communications projects, including the creation of materials from Mountain Top Weekly and other initiatives as needed.
  • Create and update assets for campaigns and events across all Rothman Coaching services while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Craft weekly “nuggets” from coaching insights, etc.
  • Support the communication needs of Rothman Coaching in general.

DRM Service

  • Manage requests and queries from DRMs and DRM Directors, ensuring they are properly logged, prioritized, and addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as the main communications support contact for DRMs, helping them translate raw data and updates into clear, donor-ready outputs.
  • Craft compelling content, including but not limited to proposals, campaign messaging, impact reports, fundraising appeals
  • Support the VP of Communications in developing policies and guidelines to strengthen communication systems and processes
  • Support the communications training and development of the DRM Team. Edit drafted outputs and provide feedback for improvement.

Execution Metrics

  • Responds to 100% of DRM queries/requests within agreed timelines, escalating when needed.
  • Delivers 100% of assigned tasks as scheduled in the communications calendar, with proactive alerts if delays are expected
  • Consistent branding across all design deliverables
  • Continuous improvement and innovation of brand visuals (e.g., 1 new template/month)
