Position Title: Marketing & Content CreatorReports to: CEOCompany: Costigan CompaniesLocation: Remote (EST)Type: Full-Time Role The Marketing & Content Creator is responsible for developing, editing, and publishing daily social media and video content that represents the voice and brand of John Costigan across key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube). This role ensures consistent online visibility and engagement aligned with the company’s brand goals and messaging. Responsibilities Create and edit short-form video content from podcasts, keynote sessions, and training materials. Add captions, hooks, and graphic enhancements to videos for engagement optimization. Write and schedule captions, posts, and hashtags in John’s tone and style. Maintain the content calendar to ensure daily posting and consistency. Manage and track engagement metrics across social channels. Coordinate for approval of new content ideas. Repurpose existing assets into new formats (clips, thumbnails, reels). Support broader marketing initiatives (email, podcast promotion, digital campaigns). Requirements Skills and Experience Proven experience in social media management and video editing. Proficiency in tools such as CapCut, Descript, Adobe Premiere, or Canva. Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube content best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Self‑directed, reliable, and comfortable working independently. Preferred Experience editing or managing content for public speakers, coaches, or entrepreneurs. Familiarity with AI tools for content creation or automation. Results Success in this role will be measured by: Consistent daily content output that aligns with John Costigan’s tone and brand. Growth in social media engagement and reach across platforms. Timely delivery of edited videos and marketing assets. Increased visibility and credibility of John Costigan’s brand online.
