Job Description Responsibilities

  • Developing Organizational Financial Strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
  • High-level financial reporting and analysis
  • Regular budget consolidation
  • Cash flow management
  • Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
  • Stakeholder management, debt management and collection
  • Supervising and reviewing accounting practices: at both small and large companies, financial controllers supervise accounting teams. Check accuracy and ensure that all work meets applicable compliance standards.
  • Improving efficiency: identify ways to improve financial efficiency and contribute to cost reductions and profit growth
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders: manage relationships with investors, partners, and other external stakeholders
  • Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
Key Hard Skills
  • Technical Accounting Skills: Strong background in generally accepted accounting principles
  • Mastery of Accounting Systems: Familiar with cost, financial, and managerial accounting
  • Industry-Specific Experience: A strong working knowledge of the industry
  • Knowledge of Regulations and Compliance Requirements: Understand Securities and Exchange Commission reporting standards

Requirements
  • Accounting MBA or a CPA license
  • 5+ years experience as Business/Accounting Analyst
  • Knowledge in KPI metrics, performance evaluation, product/pricing auditing
  • Specialized expertise in areas relevant to remodeling/roofing operations
  • Product cost, inventory, purchase orders, data analysis, costing, invoices, material & goods, organize financial data
  • Reviews invoices, tracks job costs, evaluates & monitors profit
  • Cost analysis and job profit monitoring (invoices vs labor)
  • Sales commissions and data organization, sales goals, statistics
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, CRM software, content writing, QuickBooks user
  • Creates Excel sheets that produce data
Compensation
  • Starting $5-7/hour depending on skills & qualifications
  • Permanent work from home
  • Full-time and direct employment
