Diagnose and repair hardware, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics for hardware distribution at DXC Technology, supporting quality and compliance. Your Role: Key responsibilities include: Diagnosing and repairing defective hardware. Managing inventory and tracking hardware movement. Coordinating shipping and logistics for hardware distribution. Collaborating with vendors for warranty and repair services. Documenting repair activities and maintaining detailed records. Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Ensuring all hardware repairs are completed within agreed service-level timelines. Maintaining up-to-date and accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies. Meeting on-time shipping and delivery performance targets. Consistently meeting or exceeding hardware quality benchmarks post-repair. Optimizing repair and shipping processes to maintain budget compliance. Ensuring all processes align with company policies, industry standards, and safety protocols. About You: The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Business, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically, 0-1+ years of relevant experience. Fluency in written and verbal English. Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis. Proficiency in data analysis and technical knowledge. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hardware repair equipment. Strong understanding of hardware components such as CPUs, GPUs, storage devices, and power supplies. Experience with inventory management systems and tracking software (e.g., ServiceNow). Familiarity with shipping and logistics software for managing distribution workflows. Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety standards and practices. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and documentation. Hands-on experience with soldering, assembly, and component-level troubleshooting. Basic understanding of networking hardware (e.g., routers, switches) and connectivity standards. Competence in maintaining and updating service records in CRM or ERP systems. Familiarity with quality control tools and processes to ensure hardware reliability and compliance.
