Overview A MasTec company, is seeking a full-time GIS Technician in support of a large-scale telecommunications project for both OSP Fiber and Copper Networks. In addition, you will: Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans Drive your projects through all phases of construction, including scheduling, budgets, and resource management Complete job site walkouts and facilitate project meetings Meet deadlines as set by the customer while maintaining a high level of quality Work Details Work from Home Monday to Friday | Night Shift | 8 PM to 5 PM Manila Time Will follow US Holidays Responsibilities Develop and Maintain GIS Databases: Ensure data accuracy and completeness in GIS databases, specifically for telecommunications infrastructure. Spatial Data Analysis: Generate geographic statistics and incorporate them into reports to optimize network planning and deployment. Map Creation: Design and produce maps using GIS software like ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro, focusing on telecom network layouts and coverage areas. Data Collection: Integrate spatial data from various sources, including satellite imagery, field observations, and existing telecom maps. Project Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing GIS projects and applications related to telecom network expansion and maintenance. Metadata Preparation: Prepare metadata and documentation to support GIS data management for telecom projects. Qualifications Software/Knowledge Autocad Experience Experience with telecommunication fiber design Extensive knowledge in GIS Platforms: ArchGIS, QGIS, 3GIS- (required) VETRO experience (this is the client’s database of record software- (Nice to have) FTTH (required) Good English skills both written and verbal- (required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
