We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer who thrives at the intersection of craft and strategy. Someone who’s not just designing interfaces, but shaping product direction. You’ll be hands‑on, on the tools every day while also applying strategic and systems thinking to guide our product toward the future. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and clinical advisors, turning complex workflows into simple, human‑centered experiences that scale. What you'll be doing Help inform and shape the future product vision for the area in partnership with cross‑functional peers, ensuring it aligns with the portfolio and product vision. Develop a culture of ownership through empowerment, continuous improvement, experimentation, and feedback. Lead actively influences cross‑functional stakeholders across product areas to drive meaningful results and consider wider implications. Implement the company vision and contribute to the wider design team, providing regular feedback on the team’s work. Research, partner with stakeholders, and shape product strategy and end‑to‑end vision for product areas, advocating for customer‑centricity. Create world‑class products that delight customers and solve problems through high‑quality visual design, interaction, flows, user interfaces, usability, and accessibility. Translate complex healthcare workflows into elegant, intuitive interfaces for web and mobile, with knowledge of iOS and Android applications. Strongly contribute to the Carepatron Design System and workshop abilities to lead and collaborate with stakeholders. Frame and reframe problems and solutions logically and organized in both written and verbal communication, building narratives for product design, influencing PRDs, and supporting project documentation. Organize work for self, break projects down, scope, tasks, and drive toward a goal, actively optimizing workload and coordinating with the team to resolve blockers quickly. Ownership Help develop a culture of ownership through empowerment, continuous improvement, experimentation, and feedback; speak up when there is a problem and get involved in the solution. Make decisions to progress projects and team priorities, demonstrating a Carepatron mindset in work prioritization and solution development. Actively influence cross‑functional stakeholders across product area(s) to drive meaningful results and consider the wider, cross‑functional implications of the team’s work toward delivering high‑impact journeys. Ensure constraints and dependencies are well understood while working toward the product vision. Forward Thinking Responsible for implementing the company vision and contributing to the wider design team. Ideate and iterate with speed in a low‑fidelity environment, then translate to higher fidelity once validated. Apply product management skills and understanding for projects. Research & Strategic alignment Leverage effective research methods and partnerships throughout the design process. Understand customer needs, pain points, and motivations through planning, conducting, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research. Partner with stakeholders to shape and deliver product strategy and end‑to‑end vision for product areas, advocating for customer‑centricity. Design Deliver high‑quality visual design, interaction, flows, user interfaces, usability, and accessibility. Transform complex healthcare workflows into elegant, intuitive interfaces for web and mobile with iOS and Android knowledge. Strongly contribute to the Carepatron Design System. Lead workshops and collaborate with stakeholders. Communication Frame and reframe problems and solutions logically and organized in both written and verbal communication. Communicate in depth on product functions, vision, and strategy, influencing PRDs and supporting documentation. Present to groups and stakeholders persuasively and give clear, digestible updates. Planning & Scoping Organize work, break projects into tasks, scope, and drive toward goals. Optimize workload and coordinate with the team to resolve blockers quickly. What You’ll Bring 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing clean, effective, and user‑centered digital products. Proven ability to translate complexity into simplicity through design. Strong product thinking—able to connect business goals, user needs, and technical realities. Fluency with design tools (Figma preferred), design systems, and responsive UI for web and mobile. Comfortable leading discovery, framing opportunities, and influencing product direction. Strong UX research acumen—synthesizing insights from testing and customer conversations. Bonus: Experience in or around Healthcare (professionally, personally, or through family).
