Overview

Aurecon is a leading international engineering, design and advisory company with a presence across Asia and the globe. This role is based in Manila within Aurecon's Water Team of the Global Delivery Centre. The position is a Civil Engineering professional focused on transmission pipeline design engineering for water and wastewater systems.

As a transmission pipeline design engineer, you will contribute design skills and diverse thinking to a world-class team and projects of varying types and scales.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engineering design from master planning to detail design for water and wastewater pipeline systems, including hydraulic design, route selection, pipeline design, civil 3D modelling, construction methodology, risk assessment, and safety in design assessment.
  • Collaborate closely with civil and geotechnical teams to resolve technical interfaces across varied terrain and ensure alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practice.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for concept and detailed design.

There will be opportunities to apply skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets, reflecting Aurecon’s diverse teams and global reach.

Qualifications
  • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in pipeline/transmission pipeline projects
  • Excellent design skills with the ability to understand design objectives and develop engineering solutions using NZ standards
  • General civil design skills are a plus
  • Experience in Civil 3D and 12d software is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with a team
  • Ability to maintain and build strong relationships across different teams
  • Self-driven and personable
