What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Water Utilities team, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Lead civil design and design management for medium-sized municipal water and wastewater treatment projects or packages.
• Oversee the design of water and wastewater networks, including pumping systems, ensuring hydraulic engineering principles are applied to both open channel and closed conduit systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and instruction to junior engineers, designers, and drafters, while ensuring quality assurance and review of all project deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications throughout the design process.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven 7 to 10 years of experience as a civil design lead in municipal water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in hydraulic engineering, including network and pumping system design for water and wastewater applications.
• Eligible for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) registration and membership with relevant professional bodies such as RPEQ, NER, or RPEV.
