Overview

fewStones is a dynamic video production agency based in Singapore. We work with large and small companies and have an established brand for more than 10 years. This is a remote position. We are looking for an experienced Live Action video editor to join our team and stay with us long term. She or He should have a strong experience and proven references in live action video editing.

What you’ll do
  • Perform the full range of editing works from splicing, to sound balancing, to color correction and color grading.
  • Review the script to better understand the video production requirements.
  • Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation.
  • Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project.
  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client’s specifications.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous work experience as a video editor with live action editing demonstrated by references.
  • Excellent sense of design and creativity applied to video editing.
  • Ability to complete a project within the given time frame.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • A good and reliable internet connection.
  • Hands-on experience with editing software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Knowledge of color correction and color grading.
  • Consistency in meeting and exceeding set goals; attention to detail.
