We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our Asia Valuation Shared Services team within our MBPS Actuarial Function as an Actuarial Manager . Established in 2012, the team has become an actuarial center of excellence, with over 130 staff and growing, specializing in Valuation, Liability and Asset Modelling, Experience Analytics, Pricing, and more.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Support IFRS 17 implementation by interpreting the new standard and translating it into user requirements.
  2. Consolidate, analyze, and explain financial and data analysis results.
  3. Support future business reporting process design and ensure compliance with valuation control requirements for the Business Unit team.
  4. Provide advice on results validation of developed IFRS 17 solutions, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
  5. Provide documentation and training to team members on relevant subjects.
  6. Provide ad-hoc support (e.g., AXIS modeling work) as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
  2. At least 10 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
  3. Associate designation in recognized actuarial organizations (SOA, ASP), with progress toward Fellowship.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python or similar.
  5. Experience in applying actuarial concepts to model and analyze financial metrics.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  8. Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub, Quezon City
  9. Amenable to a hybrid setup (3x a week onsite)
