General Objectives of the Job Under the direction of the Maintenance Section Head, implement approved maintenance and calibration programs, work instructions, and guidelines to ensure quality, safe, and trouble-free operations of production equipment. Develop work instructions and guidelines for operations, preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of production equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Maintenance Activities
  • Ensure objectives are communicated to and properly executed by subordinates.
  • Assess and update maintenance procedures as needed.
  • Prepare requisitions for maintenance materials and supplies.
  • Ensure completed activities meet section requirements.
  • Participate in waste prevention and control in supplies, energy, manpower, and overhead costs.
  • Maintain equipment service records and other maintenance documentation.
  • Monitor performance against standards on repairs, maintenance, labor hours, and overhead costs.
  • Prepare weekly work schedules and attendance records.
  • Develop predictive, preventive, and total productive maintenance programs for assigned systems and ensure technicians carry them out.
  • Perform troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Manage the budget for section operations and maintenance of equipment.
Implementation of IMS and Good Housekeeping/Manufacturing Practices (5S & GMP)
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with policies such as IMS/QHSSE, 5S, GMP, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct orientation for new workers on safety programs and procedures.
  • Attend safety and toolbox meetings regularly.
  • Conduct safety assessments and daily inspections, report hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Enforce corrective, preventive, and improvement actions in the workplace.
Manpower
  • Supervise and guide assigned personnel to meet maintenance goals.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Identify training needs and update training plans.
  • Follow and enforce company personnel policies and rules.
Qualifications and Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; license preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or industrial plants.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Hazard Analysis, HACCP, GMP.
