Job Summary

Take the project engineer role for NPI projects as per responsibilities defined in LeadPD procedure TEC-407-522-DND. Collaborate with PJM and Ops cross-functional teams to set up the project team and lead them to achieve project goals, including tooling/process development timelines and controlling project capital and expenses within budget.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Planning and Budgeting
  • Identify project goals and scope for manufacturing process development.
  • Develop project framework and timelines, utilizing WBS to identify deliverables and tasks.
  • Create project capital and expenses plan, capacity plan, cost model, and P&L.
  • Plan tooling development, qualification, sample making, and delivery timelines.
  • Guide infrastructure, manpower, and material resource planning to support all plant builds.
Project Execution
  • Set up project team in Ops and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Lead Ops functions to complete tasks on time and within budget.
  • Monitor progress with PJM, review project status, and drive implementation to meet timelines.
  • Manage scope changes effectively.
  • Ensure timely sample delivery, tooling completion, and production documentation.
  • Plan and execute safe launch and qualification to meet deadlines.
Project Tracking and Presentation
  • Track project progress, address bottlenecks, and present updates to management highlighting risks and support needs.
Go to Production
  • Conduct ramp-up meetings and transfer the project to the mass production team.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong coordination, communication skills, accountability, integrity, customer focus, and results-driven attitude.
