About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client’s growing global finance team. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and AR reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about bringing order, transparency, and strategic value to the AR process in a high-growth SaaS/fintech environment.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics
• Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies
• Record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis
• Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms
• Support revenue recognition reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Regularly analyze AR aging reports to proactively address collection risks
• Collaborate with Account Management teams to resolve client billing or payment issues
• Prepare reports related to AR, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership
• Assist in designing and maintaining internal processes related to billing, cash collection, and bad debt tracking
• Provide support for month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting projects

What You Bring

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company
• Advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel
• Experience in managing multi-currency, multi-entity, and consolidated financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices
• Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO) and financial compliance standards
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and geographies
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and comfort with fast-moving environments
