Overview

Job Description: CAD Operator provide the guidelines and technical details of the design’s or structure that is being built. They may work with engineers, architects and other professionals in producing plans and drawings. These documents use specialized notations and symbols to convey instructions about materials, assembly procedures or tools.

CAD operator draw maps, diagrams or plans for construction projects and structures. They review data from engineers and technicians to ensure that they conform to design plans.

Responsibilities
  1. Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form.
  2. Design floor plans, elevations, and realistic renderings with the help of software.
  3. Produce final design specifications.
  4. Supervise assistant drafters and other workers involved in the project design
  5. With good communication skills Generate sketches that may be used to craft clear and well organized construction plans.
  6. Review drawings, and documentation of basic to moderate complexity within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution.
  7. Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures
  8. Coordinate with designers, technicians and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
  9. Construction drawings of plans/As-built
  10. Performs other task assigned by the immediate head or the management.
Qualifications
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field, or equivalent.
  2. At least 1 year(s) of working experience specialized in Architecture
  3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  4. Have strong organizational, project management, time management, and multi-tasking skills;
  5. Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times.
