JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Site Engineer

Employment type: Project-based (Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm)

Project/Structure: PROPOSED 3-STOREY LABORATORY/WAREHOUSE BUILDING

Location: San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal

Salary: 25,000 – 28,000

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Total Safe Development Construction Inc. is a registered company. It has its primary purpose as a General Contractor (building of construction or parts/Civil Engineering) specifically engaged in: Project estimate, General Construction (foundation to finishing), Renovation, and Fit-out.

Reporting to:

General Manager, CEO/Management, Construction Manager/Site Supervisor/Project Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Site engineers are responsible for gathering the necessary materials and tools for their crew to use throughout the project. To do this, they refer to the design plans and liaise with suppliers and vendors. Once the materials arrive, they may test them to determine their quality and suitability. It also includes supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, and observing health and safety standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.

· Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.

· Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.

· Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.

· Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings, and training sessions where required.

· Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.

· Preparing site reports and completing other site documentation

· Conducting preliminary site inspections of potential construction sites to determine essential tasks

· Developing labor and material cost estimates for a project

· Advising the construction team on operational enhancements to lower costs and enhance efficiency

· Ensuring the construction team follows health and safety standards

· Resolving technical difficulties that occur during a construction project

· Connecting and negotiating with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must be a graduate of BS Civil Engineering

· Must be a licensed Civil Engineer (RCE)

· Can attend or supervise a team/worker

· Minimum of 3 years' site experience in general construction projects

· Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, shop drawings, and basic construction software

· Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

· Can work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced site conditions
