Overview

Location: SMDC Bacolod, Western Visayas, Philippines

Employment type: Contract

Responsibilities
  • Lead the assigned Turnover Assistance Team (TOAST) to bring residential units to Full Acceptance (FA) status
  • Assist the Project Management Assistant Manager/ Project Manager/ Project Management Senior Project Manager in the documentary close-out of the project
  • Prepare necessary reports regarding the status of residential units as frequently as required
  • Coordinate with the engaged External Construction Management and contractor representatives (in the absence of the Project Management Manager) and other project staff
  • Timely turnover of residential units to BTG with a target average of four (4) FA units per work day
  • Assist in the documentary close-out of the project, including review, consolidation, and submission of close-out documents to GPMC and Head Office
  • Assist in conduct of project site walk-through and site inspection
  • Support health and safety objectives, targets and programs, promote a safe workplace and ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
  • Support environmental protection objectives and programs, promote an environment-friendly workplace and ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
  • Address turnover to BTG & CRM issues raised by SAP/CRM coordinators
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field from a reputable institution and a valid PRC license or equivalent
  • Preferably at least 3 years of work experience in construction management of vertical and horizontal developments
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Good leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  • Proven drive for results and accountability of business needs
