The Senior Accounting Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and cost efficiency of each project undertaken by the company. They are responsible for overseeing cost control measures, monitoring project expenditures, and ensuring compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements. The role involves meticulous attention to detail, proactive communication with stakeholders, and strong analytical skills.

• In charge of cost control for each project – actual cost monitoring and budget variance comparison.
• Checks receipt of material purchases, material movement, and progress billings.
• Cost detail analysis of project site and administrative expenses.
• Handling and lodgment of periodic expanded withholding taxes and other related requirements.
• Handling and lodgment of periodic VAT and other related requirements.
• Assist the superior in liaison with BIR, SEC, DOLE, LGU, bank partners, and other stakeholders.
• Liaison with suppliers/sub-subcontractors regarding certificate of completion, invoices, and delivery receipts.
• Handling and maintenance of asset register including lapsing schedule per asset category.
• Audit of project payroll, and materials from time to time.
• Liaison with warehouseman about inventory records, inventory count, and material movements.
• General ledger account reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Preparation of cost analysis and other adhoc tasks as required by superior.

Educational background / Qualifications: Must be a graduate of Accountancy or a related field

Work Experience required: At least 3 years proven working experience or in a similar position
