Job Description We are looking for a superstar Senior Accountant for start-up Redmint (a health and beauty company providing holistic wellness services supported by skincare and herbal remedy products) and the Au Family Office. Successful candidate will enjoy working in an exciting and growing start-up and performing a variety of accounting tasks, not just booking entries. Candidate must be highly analytical and able to understand the health and wellness industry as well as excel in a high-pressure environment. Responsibilities Senior Accountant will: Manage accounts payable / receivable Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements Process payroll and support with HR functions Reconcile fixed assets Maintain store inventory records Record intercompany transactions Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other tax reporting requirements Assist in budgeting and variance analysis Assist in management of cash flows and liquidity Prepare regular analysis and reports including performance reporting Monthly financial review meetings with RedMint CEO Other duties and tasks as needed For the Family Office: Support Accounting Supervisor in managing personal investments across a wide portfolio of general partner funds, co-investment vehicles, and outside investment vehicles Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements Assist in preparing analysis reports and quarterly personal financial statements Assist in the management of cash flows and liquidity Other duties and tasks as needed Requirements 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel Quick learner for new software and internet platforms CPA, real estate, and / or health / wellness industry experience a plus BA in Accounting, or equivalent work experience Mandatory: US Accounting experience, Yardi, Quickbooks Skills and Abilities Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Effective at prioritizing multiple projects with shifting deadlines Ability to operate in a fluid, fast paced, start-up environment Self-motivated and responsible with an exceptional work ethic Ability to work independently, in addition to working collaboratively and effectively as a team member Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations Possess the highest level of discretion and confidentiality #J-18808-Ljbffr
