DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees the operations of Treasury Funds Improvement and Reports Team, ensuring:Releasing of checks, petty cash, and promo are within the agreed turnaround time Liquidation and transmittal of checks to accounting are within the agreed turnaround time Check cancellations and stale are within the agreed turnaround time All requests are implemented within the approved matrix, policies, and procedures Oversees the operation of Bank Management as requested by other departments, including:Enrolling Bank Accounts of sellers, suppliers, employees, and Prime key buyers in AFTS and IDS ACA Facility Implementing bank account opening and closing of new/closed companies (both local and foreign Banks) Implementing bank facilities and services for new companies (including CHARM creation, UAT) Evaluating and recommending checkbook Re-order Coordinating with the bank for services (e.g., bank certification, authorization) Coordinates with various departments, banks, and Signatories for immediate resolution of special requests Ensures Audit findings (if any) are immediately addressed Consolidates, monitors, and ensures Treasury Cash Management expenses are within approved Budget Recommends and ensures execution (including CHARM creation, BRD review, UAT) of agreed process improvements (e.g., Automation, simplified manual process) Formulates and/or ensures detailed procedural manual has proper control and updated Recommends productive analysis from various reports Recommends valuable inputs from various communications Performs projects assigned by immediate head or management Company Overview SM is the leading Philippine company invested in market-leading businesses in retail, banking, and property, with investments in ventures capturing high growth opportunities in the emerging Philippine economy.
