Key Responsibilities Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload products from the delivery vehicle. Delivery Assistance: Assist the driver in navigating to delivery locations. Customer Service: Interact courteously with customers, answer questions, and resolve any complaints. Order Accuracy: Verify that the correct items are delivered to the correct customer and that orders are complete and accurate. Payment and Paperwork: Obtain signatures for deliveries and collect payments from customers, handling related documentation. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle remains clean, organized, and in good condition. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Communication: Liaise with the main office or warehouse logistics team to report problems and notify the driver of any route changes. Required Skills & Qualifications Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform other physical labor. Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with the delivery driver and other team members. Attention to Detail: For verifying orders and ensuring accurate deliveries. Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and dependability. Customer Service Experience: Experience in a customer-facing role is often preferred.
