This Medical Advisor role is equivalent to a Medical Affairs Manager in many pharmaceutical organizations, with medical signatory responsibilities and therapy-area leadership. As a Medical Advisor, you will be a key scientific partner driving medical strategy and ensuring the highest standards of medical and scientific integrity across our brands, with the role commencing in January 2026. You’ll operate at the intersection of science and strategy to identify opportunities, inform commercial decisions, and enable the safe, effective communication of our therapies. Key Accountabilities Therapy Area Expertise : Serve as the regional medical expert for a defined therapy area, partnering with marketing to develop scientifically robust brand materials. Medical Signatory : Hold signatory responsibility for relevant materials, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Scientific Accuracy : Ensure the medical and scientific accuracy of external materials, research papers, and reports, with potential authority for final approval. Approval Processes : Design, refine, and manage processes for medical review and approval of branded and non-promotional materials, acting as a subject-matter expert or project lead as needed. Governance and Quality : Contribute to policies, procedures, and objectives that safeguard scientific rigor and compliance across medical and brand communications. Strategic Collaboration : Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape local brand strategy and medical plans aligned to therapy area insights and patient needs. Insight and Excellence : Stay current on clinical practice, regulatory requirements, and emerging scientific developments; translate insights into actionable recommendations. Essential Skills and Experience Medical Qualification : Qualified physician (MD or equivalent). Industry Experience (Strongly Required) : Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within medical affairs with close collaboration with marketing. Regulatory Understanding : Working knowledge of legislation, codes, and standards governing pharmaceutical promotion and scientific exchange. Field Medical Background (Strongly Required) : Prior experience as an MSL or Senior MSL.
