Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Operations Manager remote-based in the Philippines to join our team. The Operations Manager will oversee the efficient vendor management, shipment, and delivery of supplies for Visit.org’s social impact events worldwide. The right candidate will have an eye for detail, an entrepreneurial spirit, an extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a startup tech environment. Please note: This is a remote contract role (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, invoiced monthly) Philippines-based. Responsibilities Oversee Operations for your region, ensuring the success of all processes and logistics related to our social impact events. Act as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related queries. Identify and manage relationships with wholesalers, including negotiating rates and forecasting demand as needed. Manage in-country warehouse and/or 3PL partners, including inventory tracking, material deliveries for events, and overall day-to-day operations. Implement both regional and global processes to drive operational efficiency and document these procedures through clear, standardized SOPs. Prepare and maintain cost estimates, reports, purchase records, and a supplier database. Support additional business operations as needed. Requirements Qualifications 2 to 3 years of experience as an operations manager working in an early-stage start-up environment Experience in supply chain and logistics is a big plus Professional fluency in the Google Suite, MS Excel, Word, and other relevant inventory and project management tools Ability to organize, analyze, and communicate data clearly using spreadsheets and other tools Ability to work independently, adapt, and problem-solve in response to changing circumstances and priorities Highly organized with extreme attention to detail Physical Demands: Able to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs. Able to stand for an extended period Experience with sourcing products, conducting quality control, and vendor management (knowledge of these areas in Asian markets is a plus) Experience budgeting and forecasting Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technology What we offer Please note: This is a remote contract role (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, invoiced monthly) Philippines-based.
