Overview Government Mandated Benefits Insurance Health & Wellness HMO Parking Space Responsibilities Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations. Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions. Coordinate and prioritize daily accounting activities. Resolve accounting discrepancies and issues. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts. Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies. Prepare and review journal entries. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. Month-End and Year-End Closing: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion. Prepare and review closing entries. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other relevant regulations. Assist with internal and external audits. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Ensure tax compliance. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures. Implement and maintain effective internal controls. Utilize accounting software and systems effectively. Other Duties: Assist with special projects as assigned. Provide support to other departments as needed. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience Level: 3-5 years of accounting experience. Skills and Competencies: Strong skills in reconciliations, general ledger management, financial statements preparation, and proficiency in QuickBooks. Working Conditions: Office environment, standard working hours, occasional overtime may be required. Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
