CallStreet is the leading provider of raw, corrected, and formatted transcripts of earnings calls, conferences, and other events for the investment community. We cover thousands of companies for transcripts and events.

What You’ll Do

• Proofread raw transcripts of financial events and companies in our coverage.
• Review work done by Editor 1 against audio sources and public sources (press releases, company websites, filings) for accuracy.
• Ensure corrected transcripts meet quality benchmarks and are delivered to FactSet clients in a timely manner.
• Report to the Team Lead and help meet team goals by achieving individual targets.
• Work onsite three days a week for non-GY shifts and may work from home five days a week for the GY shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned raw transcripts are reviewed with audio; correct major, minor, grammatical, and immaterial errors per verbatim rules.
• Complete corrected transcripts with a minimum quality benchmark (error score of 1.6 per 10 minutes of audio).
• Edit transcripts at a turn-around time of 3.6x or less; edit at least 81 minutes during off-peak and 99 minutes during peak season per shift.
• Back-up for team lead duties when needed; coordinate with FCAs, assign work, mentor new hires, and manage capacity to keep business as usual.
• Maintain day-to-day execution and delivery of individual goals; achieve quality, timeliness, and productivity metrics.
• Attend training on process, methodology, workflows, and systems; track communications on updates and new procedures.
• Acquire understanding of FactSet content, particularly CallStreet information; adhere to procedures and data maintenance protocols.
• Participate in knowledge tests and be accountable for assigned tasks; adapt to ad hoc business requirements.
• Attend meetings and skills enhancement courses.

Required Skills

• Graduate degree in Commerce/Business Management/Finance/Accounting/Economics/Communication/Journalism or equivalent.
• Knowledge of financial markets and accounting as needed to understand content.
• Computer literacy; proficient with databases and software for content processing.
• Research skills: ability to gather information from company websites, news feeds, and stock exchanges; capture relevant information on time.

• Listening ability to review transcripts while listening to different accents.
• Typing skills for faster, accurate transcription.
• Strong financial terminology knowledge; understand calls related to financial performance.
• Research skill to identify products and executive names not easily understood in audio.
• Ability to work under pressure; willingness to work extended hours as needed.
• Excellent English grammar; ability to punctuate and edit transcripts.
• Exposure to various accents; willing to be assigned to other projects.
• Be open to working with cross-geography editors.
• Willing to be assigned to other projects and exceed targets.
