Under the direction of the Head of Manufacturing, this position is responsible in the monitoring and cost-effective maintenance of production equipment and facilities at the least possible downtime and ensuring that all the equipment and facilities are always available and in good operational condition.

  • Prepares the maintenance calendar of production equipment and implements them.
  • Conducts inspection, assessment or troubleshooting of production machine and equipment based on requirement or as needed.
  • Facilitates and performs the cost-effective repair and maintenance of production machines, tools and equipment.
  • Ensures availability of necessary materials, spare parts, equipment and tools for the effective and efficient operation of production and engineering
  • Oversees proper disposal of hazardous wastes.
  • Monitor and update inventory of production machine and equipment:
  • Filling Machines – (Norden, JAP, Akash, LFM, etc.)
  • Mixing Equipment – (Ross, Andi 1, Andi2, OM 1, etc.)
  • Auxiliary Equipment – (Discharge Pumps, Vacuum Pumps, Weighing Scales, Etc.)
  • Monitor inventory and schedule calibration of equipment and tools.
  • Performs other necessary monitoring activities and data gathering to address equipment issues, improve equipment operation and engineering processes.
  • Provide instructions which include SOPs and Work Instructions to non-technical personnel or personnel from other departments on proper and safe use of tools, auxiliary equipment, machine, utility or facility and ensure that these are followed.
  • Provides safety protocols to Production and Engineering that will prevent accidents or injuries when performing a task.
  • Prepare reports needed showing performance of department and recommendation to improve the performance or process.
  • Facilitates meeting discussing solutions to issues, process improvement or other engineering concerns.
  • Participates in company-wide programs and encourages the team to participate also.
  • Performs special projects as required by the immediate superior.
  • Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering/BS Electrical Engineering
  • 1-3 years work experience
