Overview
This position is accountable for delivering in-region manufacturing application planning, implementation and change management in partnership with plant, regional and global stakeholders, including functional and technical SMEs. The role also strategizes a roadmap for productivity delivery with a specific focus on each of the conversion cost components. Roadmap delivery is coordinated in partnership with multifunction stakeholder teams across Plant, BU & Region teams.
ResponsibilitiesRegional governance of the applications portfolio implementation plan aligned with the global digital strategy.
Support project planning, resourcing and AR preparation as per the defined MDS project implementation methodology.
Coordinate & ensure alignment between business and MDS, linking to the functional process/applications lead.
Identify project resource requirements for manufacturing processes & system application projects.
Identify overlaps, gaps and interactions between different initiatives and functions.
Ensure functional engagement and drive plant adoption of applications through the implementation phase.
Lead Regional Conversion Optimization Initiatives & Govern Productivity Delivery to achieve net & gross productivity targets.
Regional admin for Critical KPIs (RM-PM Waste, GE & CU) impacting Conversion Cost. Lead BU/Sites to ensure right capability, timely data visibility for decision making & benchmarking with internal & external peers to achieve best-in-class KPI performance.
Lead Regional KPI Governance & Scorecard Ownership, coaching/mentoring BU/site teams in the process.
Regional admin for upcoming Data Governance Standard Work Process.
Governance owner & approver for SAP user roles.
Job specific requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering with at least 12-15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing setup with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and team-building skills to drive process improvements and work effectively across functions and levels.
Proven track record in strategic planning with a solution-oriented mindset to manage a complex portfolio.
Strong change management skills to identify and streamline existing operational processes in line with the long-term manufacturing roadmap vision.
Hands-on with digital applications; prior experience with digital applications design & deployment preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and diverse stakeholders.
