The Opportunity Manages the planning and provide design for the construction, installation of mechanical machinery, and other facilities support utilities. Review the design, drawing plans and technical submittals from supplier and contractor prior implementation of projects. Responsible for the launching of CAPEX request related to mechanical projects. Monitoring of project status, expenses and providing weekly progress update to Section Manager. Provide list of projects its estimated cost and schedules related to mechanical projects, modification, and improvement. Design and develop project relevant to the Plant Facilities, EHS & Security department. Manage the coordination of mechanical requirements, allocation and layout and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. What You Will Do Lead and execute the facilities mechanical project and related activities during the project phase, adhering to the project timeline. Responsible for the design, value engineering, equipment selection, installation, pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning and qualification of facilities and utilities system. Responsible for the study and evaluation of mechanical requirements, drawing, plans and layout, schedule, and timing of activities to ensure the efficient operation of Assembly, Test Center, and Probe. Responsible for the preliminary assessments of proposed projects including evaluation, costing, materials needed, procurement, and coordination and with other department or concerned personnel. Inspect and monitor mechanical equipment, maintenance, and projects to ensure timeliness, correctness, completion, and compliance with the approved contract and to ensure compliance with Mechanical codes and applicable standards. Responsible for providing contingency plans and alternatives during the implementation of projects and activities. Analyze every detail, submit for approval, and coordinate properly with all concerns. Responsible in gaining annual Mechanical Certification and other legal requirements in adherence to all local laws, regulation, and code requirements of various regulatory and concerned government agencies. Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes or equipment and developing improvements. Will act as a subject matter expert for mechanical systems and equipment. Responsible for the change control management involving mechanical/utilities system. Other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time. What You Will Bring BS Mechanical Engineering with holder of valid PRC license At least 5-10 years’ experience as a Facilities Engineer or Mechanical Project Engineer preferably in a semiconductor atmosphere. Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing. The ability to lead and manage teams and projects. Organization, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload. Ability to interact well with a diverse group of people.
