Overview Direct Response (User Generated Content) Video Editor / Creator ) Location: Philippines (Philippines-based). This is a full-time role (8 hours per day). Salary range: $1,500-$2,500 AUD / Monthly. You will be hired directly by the client, typically as an independent contractor. All roles are 100% remote. Role: Direct Response Video Editor Client: E-commerce brand. Work with Hunt St to produce high-converting video ads for Facebook and other social media platforms that drive sales and maximize ROI. Role Overview Produce attention-grabbing, engaging, and persuasive video ads at scale by leveraging direct-response marketing principles, data-driven insights, and rapid iteration. Key Responsibilities Creative Output & Efficiency: Deliver 15-30 new video ads per week to maintain a steady flow of test-ready content; maintain 1-2 hour editing time per video; repurpose existing content, UGC, stock footage, and brand assets. Performance Optimization: Consistently produce ads that outperform previous creatives in CTR, ROAS, and CPA; iterate on creatives with data insights and launch multiple variations for A/B testing; ensure at least 50% of new ads outperform benchmarks. Technical Excellence & Quality Control: Maintain 100% compliance with Facebook ad policies and best practices; deliver polished videos with clear messaging, strong hooks, and on-brand visuals; optimize for sound-off viewing with captions and overlays. Collaboration & Workflow: Work with the marketing team to understand ad performance and optimize creatives; incorporate feedback quickly to reduce revisions and ensure timely launches; keep organized file management for easy access to past creatives. Required Skills and Qualifications Expert Video Editing & Motion Graphics Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar tools; advanced color grading, sound design, and keyframe animation Ability to create dynamic motion graphics and engaging animations (kinetic typography, product highlights, transitions) Strong fast-paced editing capabilities with attention to the first 3-5 seconds Experience with UGC editing and direct-response conversion optimization Familiarity with AI-based editing tools, templates, and automation for speed Direct-Response Marketing Understanding: knowledge of hooks, social proof, problem/solution frameworks, and strong CTAs Platform Expertise: targeted for Facebook & Instagram formats; mobile-optimized videos (1:1, 4:5, 9:16) Storytelling & Engagement: ability to convert raw footage into persuasive narratives and showcase product benefits Data-Driven Iteration & Testing: comfort analyzing CTR, watch time, ROAS; create multiple ad versions for testing Localization: capability to deliver content in multiple languages using AI localization tools (note: must speak English clearly for messaging) Attention to Detail: ensure text accuracy, video clarity, and smooth transitions Collaboration & Communication: work with marketing/creatives; receptive to feedback and revisions Culture Fit Results-Driven: performance-based mindset focused on ROAS and conversions Fast-Paced & Adaptable: thrive under tight deadlines and high output Creative but Pragmatic: balance artistic vision with direct-response effectiveness Growth-Oriented: eager to learn, test new strategies, and improve Proactive & Self-Sufficient: take initiative and manage workflow without micromanagement We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to join our team.
