Job Summary

The Visual Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for leading the creative and strategic execution of visual merchandising initiatives across all store formats, including company-owned stores, corners, exhibits, pop-ups, and e-commerce. This role conceptualizes and implements compelling product displays and window designs that enhance brand image, attract customers, and drive sales. The position oversees seasonal rollouts, store openings, visual campaigns, and VM-related events, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market trends. It also involves budget management, supplier coordination, trend research, and the training of store teams in visual display execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and implement window displays, in-store setups, and visual elements aligned with brand identity and seasonal campaigns
  • Create sketches, floor plans, and detailed visual display designs in coordination with merchandising and marketing teams
  • Oversee visual merchandising execution for new store openings and refurbishments, from planning to final installation
  • Lead rollout of visual merchandising initiatives including POP-ups, events, special campaigns, and e-commerce visual styling
  • Coordinate with suppliers on the production, procurement, and timely delivery of VM props and materials
  • Monitor visual merchandising trends and competitor practices to propose relevant, brand-enhancing display strategies
  • Manage VM budgets, timelines, and inventories of visual props and equipment
  • Provide visual merchandising training and ongoing support to store teams in executing planograms and visual standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fine Arts, Interior Design, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail display, or a related creative retail environment
  • Strong creative and conceptual design skills, with an eye for styling, trends, and visual storytelling
  • Proficient in visual planning tools and design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience in handling store openings, VM rollouts, and supplier coordination
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to lead multiple timelines and deliverables
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; able to train and guide store teams
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site during campaign executions and store setups
