Salesforce Vlocity Developer (CPQ, EPC & Order Management)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Vlocity Developer to design, configure, and implement solutions across Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) , Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC) , and Order Management (OM) in Salesforce Communications Cloud . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) tools, data models, and OmniStudio, as well as a solid understanding of telecom business processes. This role will work closely with architects, business analysts, and integration teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize Vlocity CPQ to implement guided selling, pricing rules, promotions, and quote lifecycle processes
  • Develop and maintain the Vlocity Enterprise Product Catalog, including product structures, attributes, rules, and versioning
  • Implement order capture flows, product decomposition, orchestration plans, and fulfillment logic within Order Management
  • Build and enhance OmniStudio components such as OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards
  • Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Integrate Communications Cloud with external systems (BSS/OSS, billing, inventory) using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through best practices and peer reviews
  • Support testing cycles, defect resolution, and deployment activities
  • Document configuration logic, data mappings, and technical designs for ongoing maintenance and support
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) projects
  • Hands-on experience with CPQ, EPC, and Order Management in Communications Cloud
  • Proficiency in OmniStudio tools: OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards
  • Strong understanding of Vlocity data model, product modeling, pricing, and rules engine
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Industries with external systems using APIs and middleware
  • Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative Salesforce development tools
  • Knowledge of version control, DevOps processes, and CI/CD deployment for Vlocity datapacks is a plus
  • Salesforce certifications such as Industries CPQ Developer or OmniStudio Developer are highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
