Job Description

In your new role, you will:

  1. Manage manufacturing and/or production operations , including assembly , machinery , processing , and packaging
  2. Set production schedules based on product introduction , equipment efficiency , materials supply , staffing resources , and volume required to meet demand
  3. Ensure maximum production quantity and quality by optimizing production processes and resources
  4. Coordinate with various departments, including engineering , quality , and logistics , to ensure smooth production operations
  5. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency , reduce costs , and enhance product quality
  6. Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and implement changes
  8. Develop and manage budgets , forecasts , and reports to ensure production operations are within budget and meet business objectives
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies , procedures , and regulatory requirements
  10. Lead and manage a team of production staff , providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  1. Graduate of Engineering or any business-related course (e.g., Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Business Administration )
  2. Minimum 5 years of planning , coordination , and scheduling production experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably in the semiconductor industry
  3. Effective writing and communication skills , with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software , with good knowledge of logistics , business process , and relevant IT tools (e.g., SAP , Workstream )
  5. Customer-oriented , with a good understanding of Supply Chain process , inventory control , and management
  6. Good level of pro-activeness , with the ability to handle subordinate to management discussions
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  8. Excellent leadership and team management skills , with the ability to motivate and develop a team of production staff
