Senior Consultant

The role rolls up to Technical Consulting Team of Customer Consulting - On Demand, under Sales & Account Management organization.

This role works closely with Account Teams, Sales and Proposition Teams to identify and execute key projects and opportunities that generates direct revenue for the business. We're a team that thrives on solving complex problems with smart, tailored technology.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Specialist, Technical Consulting who shares our passion for building impactful solutions. In this role, we work closely with customers and internal teams to create and implement custom-built tools and automations that address real-world business needs. From pre-sales consultations to post-implementation support, we take ownership of the full development lifecycle and beyond.

What We Do:

• We use modern technologies like Python, .NET, SQL, and Excel VBA to deliver custom solutions.
• We integrate systems through APIs and web services, and we leverage platforms like ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure to design scalable architectures.
• We support both client-facing and internal projects, ensuring our work delivers value from day one and remains adaptable to evolving needs
• Carries out unit testing, ensuring application meets needs of client and business.
• Develops and integrates applications as per written specifications.
• May provide technical support to operations or other development teams.
• Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements, which will typically be reviewed by a more senior developer
• Works with technical staff to gain deeper knowledge of code and business area.
• Generate analytical reports such as, but not limited to, shareholder analytics, roadshow profiles, and deal analytics to assist in the origination and execution phases of equity and fixed income deals

Skills and Experience:

• You should have strong hands-on experience with Python, Excel VBA, .NET, and SQL, along with a solid grasp of API usage and web service integration. Familiarity with ServiceNow—particularly in workflow design or customization—is highly valuable, as is exposure to Microsoft Azure Platform Services.
• A consultative approach is essential, with the ability to analyse sophisticated requirements and recommend effective solutions that align with business goals.
• Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach are key in both client and internal interactions.
