Job Description Overview
We\'re looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen, specializing in authentic Filipino cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of culinary excellence and a deep understanding of Filipino flavors and techniques.
Responsibilities- Menu development and costing
- Inventory management and ordering
- Food preparation and presentation
- Ensuring high standards of food quality and consistency
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of kitchen operations
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a comparable leadership role within a professional kitchen
- Demonstrated expertise in Filipino cuisine is essential, with a strong portfolio showcasing traditional and possibly modern interpretations of Filipino dishes
- Extensive knowledge of various Filipino cooking methods, ingredients, and regional specialties
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train, and manage a culinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to kitchen challenges
