Job Description Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with business goals. Develop and implement strategic engineering processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Define and drive the overarching technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company's quantitative and blockchain-based gaming platforms and operational infrastructure. Champion the development and refinement of innovative, fair, and engaging odds-based game mechanics and financial models, leveraging advanced data science, AI, and blockchain capabilities. Ensure the security, integrity, scalability, and regulatory compliance of all gaming operations and associated financial transactions on the platform. Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and trends in quantitative finance, blockchain/Web3, AI, and gaming, advocating for their strategic adoption to maintain a competitive edge. Assist leading alongside CTO in establishing and enforcing best practices for software development, data governance, AI ethics, and blockchain implementation across all teams. The Successful Applicant A successful Director of Engineering should have: Proven executive experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5+ years specifically managing multiple engineering teams in complex, data-driven environments. Experience in the online casino & gaming industry is a must . Deep expertise in blockchain ecosystems , including hands-on and strategic experience with smart contracts, token economics, and decentralized applications (dApps). Comprehensive understanding of modern technology stacks -spanning data science tools (e.g., Python, machine learning libraries), AI frameworks, game development engines like Unity and Unreal, and cloud backend architectures. Well-versed in the full lifecycle of game development , including live game operations and the integration of external systems such as KYC/AML platforms and payment infrastructure. Robust technical foundation in backend and microservices architecture, with working knowledge of contemporary full-stack technologies such as Node.js, Go, Rust, Docker, Kubernetes, ORMs, and cloud services. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields-or possesses equivalent senior-level technical experience.
