Reporting into the Payroll Senior, the Payroll Associate provides assistance in payroll administration, payroll processing, and maintaining the accuracy of the payroll records of the clients. Responsibilities In-charge in the full cycle of payroll processing which includes payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, preparing payroll accounting, and reports, etc. Process payroll transactions into the payroll management software. Process IR21, maternity, childcare claims, NS claims in a timely manner. Assist in the annual year-end tax reporting which includes generating and processing of IR8A forms and providing resolution to any related queries. Prepare statutory contribution (e.g., Central Provident Fund) calculations. Ensure proper filing and documentation of relevant documents related to payroll advice, reports and correspondences. Ensure timely generation and submission of monthly payroll related reports, headcount reports for monthly closing, management reporting, budgeting, MOM surveys, etc. Ensure compliance with the firm's quality control procedures. Be a team player, working cooperatively and communicating effectively in the work environment. Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance. Desired Skills and Qualifications Degree in Accounting and or other business-related degree 2 years payroll experience Good analytical skills, numerate, and meticulous with a keen eye for details and process improvement Strong interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication skills Team player and service-oriented Ability to manage high volume of transactions with quality in a timely manner Excellent skills in MS office applications with knowledge of a payroll management software (e.g., SAGE) #J-18808-Ljbffr
