About the Role The Security SME will lead the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of native security solutions across hybrid and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/on-prem). You’ll ensure compliance with security frameworks, streamline deployments using automation, and mentor teams on best practices. Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain native security tools such as firewalls, WAFs, NAC, SIEM, and network ACLs. Design secure landing zones and enforce security baselines in hybrid environments. Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and compliance audits. Develop technical documentation, configuration templates, and runbooks. Use scripting (Python, PowerShell, F5 iRules, etc.) to automate deployment and monitoring. Lead troubleshooting, optimization, and incident response activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide them on security best practices. Must-Have Qualifications 5–7 years of hands-on experience in security configuration and administration . Proven experience configuring native security solutions (firewalls, WAFs, NAC, ACLs, etc.). Experience in cloud security (Azure/AWS) and hybrid architectures. Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar). Solid understanding of vulnerability management, compliance audits, and security frameworks . Excellent documentation and troubleshooting abilities. Willingness to work onsite in Manila for a project-based engagement (Oct 2025–Feb 2026). Good-to-Have Experience with endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, IAM, and threat intelligence tools. Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS. Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
