Responsibilities: Lead the design activities within the scope, primarily focusing on the production of shop drawings. Manage technical draftsmen and coordinate their tasks effectively. Coordinate with shop drawing subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Facilitate coordination with other disciplines and site teams to ensure seamless integration of designs. Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes, especially in relation to concrete and steel structures. Possess expertise in both concrete and steel structures, along with a strong background in civil works. Hold a degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate proficiency across various disciplines. Communicate effectively with modelers throughout the BIM process to ensure accurate representation of designs. Provide temporary design solutions when necessary and participate in interface meetings as required. Report to the Design Manager on project progress and deliverables. Monitor and track the shop drawing submission and approval processes. Previous experience in railway projects is preferred. Capable of producing temporary work designs if needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering field. Proven experience as a Design Engineer, with a minimum of 8 years in a senior role (in total min 10-20 years). Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant engineering tools. Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
