
Clinical Educator

The Clinical Educator functions as a clinical and product expert and is responsible for working with the ICU Medical sales team to advance the sales process and maximise customer satisfaction through in-service education and training programs, clinical and product trouble-shooting, and follow-up activities.
Responsibilities- Conducts and leads in-services and educational sessions relative to ICU products during evaluations, conversions and trouble-shooting.
- Promotes/sells/ secures opportunities for product training and support from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs in collaboration with sales and management teams.
- Demonstrates a detailed understanding of product range and clinical application.
- Assists the sales team with the provision of effective clinical support, teaching and education of ICU products.
- Delivers programs to support ICU products in the clinical setting.
- Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to customers as directed.
- Provides management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services as required.
- Keeps up to date with product applications, technical services and changes in clinical demands.
- Fosters teamwork and conducts work in alignment with company policies at all times.
- Abides by and performs to the best of abilities all functions, duties and responsibilities as assigned by ICU.
- Complies with orders and instructions given by ICU through its authorized representatives.
- Shall not disclose any Confidential Information in respect of the affairs of ICU to any unauthorized person.
- Performs any other administrative or non-administrative duties as assigned by ICU representatives from time to time as directed.
- Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills.
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the healthcare environment; proven record of successful performance achievements.
- Solid relationship-building skills.
- Must have the legal right to work in the Philippines.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Typically requires more than 80% travel in role via regular customer visits.
- Customer site visits may require work to be performed within a hospital or clinical setting. Guidelines established for working in such an environment must be followed.
