Who We’re Looking ForAs part of the global support team based in Parañaque, Metro Manila, the Financial Accountant will collaborate closely with the broader corporate finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting. The role will also support efforts to streamline and automate administrative processes, while providing general assistance to the accounting team as needed. The incumbent will be actively involved in monthly accounting tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Using your high level of communication skills, you will be responsible for:
- Coding and posting large invoices to correct business units
- Processing standard costing allocations
- Processing of various month end journals
- Assist with preparation of reports to various external stakeholders
- Assist with automation of various administration processes
- Prepares and analyses simple financial statements
- Assist with providing insights and analysis of the business
- Completion of GL reconciliations in a timely manner
- Provide assistance when required to the Group Accounting Manager
- Other accounting and finance related tasks as required
- Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance/Accounting) / Commerce / Property Economics is essential
- At least 3 years previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Certified Public Accountants (CPA) or are currently pursuing their CPA qualification are highly preferred
- Possesses strong commercial judgement with high level financial modelling skills (Excel)
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships across different functions in the business
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to a high work standard and work ethic
- Confidence in communicating with internal and external stakeholders
